We reserved 150 cars for this 2-car convertible/vinyl top project. Backyard Conversions has been commissioned to produce ONLY 75 1968 Pontiac GTO Convertibles for PYE. These will be converted from our 2003 5th Anniversary GTO. These are 400 4-barrel Ram Air II 4-speed cars. Many extra details were included with this car including PYE’s own Pontiac Rally II Wheels.

Backyard Conversions will disassemble the car, machine off the roof area using a milling machine, cast a convertible boot, paint it black and install. They will then hand polish the windshield frame to replicate the factory stainless steel and install a black weather-strip on the top portion of the windshield frame. BYC will also cast a pair of sun visors and paint them black. Vintage vanity Florida license plates will be installed on the bumpers and a “1 OF SEVENTY-FIVE” decal will adorn the front of the box.

We know that several of our customers were left disappointed in not being able to get one of our 75 1969 GTO Convertibles from last year. We still take calls from people looking for one of these rare cars. Cost for the GTO Convertible is $109.95 plus $7.50 shipping & handling.
