| NHRA national record holding 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 426 Hemi SS/D 4-speed.
This car ran a best E.T. of 10.20 at a blistering 131.00 MPH
This is a 1/18th scale Ertl Limited Edition. All of the striping and sponsorship
decals are painted. New features for this car is the Cragar Super Trick wheels
and a 4 point roll bar that Ertl is producing for us.
 You will also notice the Challenger T/A hood and
rear valance that Dick used on this R/T car, this was NHRA approved. Also note
the dash mounted tach. and hood mounted fuel pressure gauge, the Firestone
slicks and skinnies and the Hurst "T" handle shifter. There will also be a
higher level of paint detailing done to the interior, engine compartment and
chassis. The exterior paint is pearl white, black metallic and orange metallic
in the "Pepsi Wave" paint scheme. ( Pepsi sponsored Dick on another car and he
used the red, white and blue colors on that car )
Dick liked this design so he painted his Super Stocker the same way but could
not use the Pepsi colors.
