Performance Years Enterprises is proud to announce their partnership with the
Pontiac-Oakland Club International (POCI) and the GTO Association of America
(GTOAA). We are honored to have both clubs sponsor the PYE Pontiac Issue #3 for
2001. For the very first time both clubs will be holding their national events
back to back at the same location. This year it was held in Red Wing, MN and
hosted by the POCI Tomahawk Chapter and the GTOAA Land Of Lakes GTO Club.
Performance Years Enterprises is offering a Limited Edition 1/18th scale ERTL
die cast commemorative collectable. The 2001 Pontiac Issue #3 car (#29169) is a
1966 GTO Royal Bobcat Hurst Edition painted in barrier blue with a white
interior and red fender liners. It will be rolling on the ultra rare GOLD
anodized Hurst wheels with Firestone white letter tires and shifted by a GOLD
plated Hurst shifter. Included will be a Ram Air tub, sports steering wheel and
many extra paint details to the body, undercarriage, interior and under hood.
The custom window display box will be decorated with the POCI and the GTOAA
convention logos. We are also honoring Pontiacs 75th Anniversary and the 35th
Anniversary of the 1966 GTO.
This will be a limited edition production run of ONLY 2500 pieces distributed
worldwide and will not be produced again by the Ertl company.
Also produced were 6 (SIX) GOLD Plated 1966 GTOs. These were again offered
through a phone auction held later that summer.
These cars are priced at $50 plus $7.00 shipping & handling.
Included again this year will be a serialized reproduction window sticker.
