2008 Supercar Reunion Official Commemorative Collectible

Performance Years Enterprises would like to announce the 2008 Supercar Reunion Official Event car. This year the SCRXI is dedicated to the drag car fans, especially those attending the Supercar Shootout at Gateway International Raceway. The Reunion is celebrating their 11th ANNIVERSARY! Several Supercar Dealer cars are already pre-registered. This promises to be another great gathering of Supercars in one location. The 11th Annual Supercar Reunion Diecast Collectible will be a 1969 Camaro Yenko tribute Drag Car. This car represents what could be a current day drag Camaro storming down the quarter mile. We then added Yenko side stripes and the front portion of the Yenko hood graphic. We, not wanting this car to pose as a real Yenko and to preserve the integrity of the REAL cars, we subtly changed the Yenko stripes to not being 100 percent correct, also note we enlarged the front hood decal. We also chose to not duplicate the sYc decal for the headrest, or front fender and tail light panel emblems. We think this is just a real sinister looking Camaro ready to tear down the strip! Something a little unique for the 11th Anniversary. This is a 1/18th scale Hwy 61 Collectible. (VERY Detailed) The car has a lift off hood, opening doors & trunk. Lift off the hood to show the detailed 427 engine with dual quad. Holley’s bolted to an aluminum tunnel ram intake along with headers to exit the exhaust. The engine is wired & plumed complete with fuel lines. Under the car you will notice the working suspension, drive shaft safety loop, traction bars AND move the rear tires to see the drive shaft rotate! The Camaro rolls on Cragar mags with Goodyear slicks & skinnies up front. The interior features tilting seat backs & the seats slide back & forth, carpeted floor, cloth seat belts with photo etched buckles, roll bar, aftermarket tach mounted to the dash & a fuel pressure gauge bolted to the cowl. Even the glove box door opens to put your time slips in! Open the trunk lid to find a spackle painted floor & the trunk mounted battery. Check out the rear license plate that drops down to get to the gas cap! Limited Edition of ONLY 150 cars. We then had the car outfitted for the 2008 11th Anniversary Supercar Reunion. We applied a red, white, blue & Chrome Yenko Chevrolet Crest to the doors and a multi colored & chrome Supercar Shootout/Gateway International Raceway logo on the rear window. We then added the “Yenko Tuned” logo to the sides of the “Grump Hump” hood scoop & a white & chrome “427” to the front of the hood scoop. Special front Illinois Supercar Reunion license plates were then made with August & 08 tags in the corners. The rear Illinois plate has your own serial number of the 150 produced. Due to the request of you collectors, we have also applied a larger Illinois license plate on the front of the box showing your special serial number. A special numbered Certificate produced by “Rob Clary” will have your matching serial number. Now the car, box & certificate will all show your own special serial number! The window box was then decorated with the special 11th Reunion Anniversary logo on the top and front (same as used on the event T-Shirts). Dates, location and other information are also listed. Along with the larger Illinois license plate with the serial number of the car. Along with ONLY 18 Special Chase Cars!

A Very Limited Chase Car Version will be available. This car will be painted turquoise pearl & will have BLACK Graphics. This Chase Car will also have different style mag wheels AND a rear spoiler. 10th Anniversary Official Pontiac Die Cast Commemorative Collectible

1965 GTO ~ The SUPER STOCK Magazine TEST CAR  

Performance Years Enterprises is proud to announce our 10th Anniversary Official Pontiac Die Cast Commemorative Collectible. 1/18th scale Limited Edition 1965 GTO. The GTO will have opening hood, doors & trunk. The GTO is also equipped with the 389 Tri-Power with Hurst 4-speed shifter riding on red line tires mounted to Hurst wheels. Also equipped with interior carpet, even carpeting on the door bottoms, Pontiac floor mats, seat belts with photo etched buckles, wired & plumed engine, fuel line & accelerator linkage, window sticker on the left rear window, spackle painted trunk with trunk mat & spare tire cover, detailed undercarriage and of course the TIGER TAILS! A VERY SPECIAL CAR FOR OUR TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GTO SERIES!!! This is a replica of a B/STOCK GTO that Super Stock & Drag Illustrated Magazine used for their performance testing at Ubly Dragways in Ubly Michigan. As stated in S/S magazine, the editors chose the 65 GTO because of the overwhelming popularity at the nations drag strips. The lil’ GTO didn’t let them down, stopping the clock with a 13.19 quarter mile time and a scorching 105.88 mile per hour! Check out the page from the July 1965 issue. 10th Anniversary Daytona 500 Pace Car

1979 Pontiac Trans Am  

Performance Years Enterprises is pleased to announce a very limited production of the 1979 Pontiac Trans/Am ~ 10th Anniversary ~ Daytona 500 Pace Car. 1979 was the 10th anniversary of the Trans/Am and to commemorate this milestone the T/A was chosen to pace the cars at Daytona. LIMITED TO ONLY 24 CARS!!

The T/A comes with a special decal on the front of the packaging stating the limited quantity of only 24 cars. 1/18TH Scale with opening hood & doors. Price for the Trans Am is $49.95 plus S&H. With such a small quantity being produced be sure to order early!

1965 GTO Convertible, Special Limited Edition!

1965 Pontiac GTO Convertible

We reserved ONLY 40 cars for this convertible project. Backyard Conversions was commissioned to produce ONLY 40 1965 Pontiac GTO Convertibles for PYE. These will be converted from our 2006 GTO, issue #8. These cars were produced for the 2006 Pontiac Nationals and the 2006 GTO Nationals! These are 389 Tri-Power 4-speed cars. Many extra details were included with this car including PYE’s own Hurst Wheels.

This is the 6th year that we have done these GTO convertible projects and have always sold out quickly.

Backyard Conversions will disassemble the car, remove the top, cast a convertible boot, paint it black and install. They will then hand polish the windshield frame to replicate the factory look. BYC will also fabricate a pair of sun visors and paint them black. Vintage 1965 license plates will were installed on the bumpers and a “One OF FORTY” decal will adorn the front of the box.

We know that several of our customers were left disappointed in not being able to get one of our 75 1965 hurst gold GTO Convertibles from last year. Performance Years Enterprises is proud to announce our 10TH YEAR IN BUSINESS & our 9th Anniversary Official Pontiac Die Cast Commemorative Collectible. This year we are doing something a little different. We are only producing 400 CARS! With 4 variations. All are 1/18th scale Limited Edition 1965 GTOs. The GTOs will have opening hood, doors & trunk.

All GTOs are equipped with the 389 Tri-Power with Hurst 4-speed shifter
riding on red line tires mounted to Hurst wheels.

First is a Cameo Ivory hard top with black interior. $59.95	Second is a Cameo Ivory hard top with BLACK Vinyl Top & black interior. $74.95
Third is a Cameo Ivory Convertible with black interior. $99.95	Fourth is the California Riverside Raceway Pace Car Convertible. $119.95

A special Chromalusion Painted Chase Car will also be offered. This unique color (Carouselalusion) transforms from red to orange to gold to yellow. Only 126 Chase Car GTOs will be produced. These make for a very unique collectible & they look awesome under the lights. Photos can not do this car justice.

1970 Plymouth Cudas - 4 new versions!

Performance Years Enterprises is proud to announce 4 new versions of the 1970 Plymouth Cuda’s. These are very desirable cars that hold a special place in the hearts of many Mopar enthusiasts because of the uniqueness & rarity of these cars..

PYE has commissioned Hwy 61 Collectibles to produce a very limited run of these cars along with a CHASE CAR VERSION of each color in 1/18th scale.

MOD TOP

These cars feature all of the cool details found on the Hwy 61 cars including, scissor type hood hinges, correct type door hinges, opening trunk, rotating drive shaft, movable sun visors, glove box door, front seats & seat backs, carpeted interiors, seat belts, plumbed & wired engines.

Some extra details that Performance years has added:

• Hood pins deleted, chrome rear view mirrors, the “Mod Top” decal in rear quarter glass window added, black steering wheel, “Mopar” batter decals added to top of battery, and a “Sure Grip” decal to the underside of the trunk lid.
• Extra paint details to the gas tank straps, undercarriage body plugs, all exhaust clamps, and engine overspray on the bell housing and automatic transmission.
• More paint detailing to the bumper jack, brake master cylinder and the windshield washer tank shows half full of solvent.

The design guys at Chrysler were always on the visual cutting edge of promoting their products. For example: the High Impact colors and the bold racing stripe packages. Hoods with Shakers, Air Grabbers, Power Bulges and Scoops. The front & rear spoiler options or the sound of those engines exiting through the rear valance panels or the trumpets in front of the rear wheels. The list goes on & on. But, one of the most outrageous options was offered on the 1969 & 1970 Plymouths & Dodges, the MOD TOP Cars!

MOD TOP & Chase Car

This was a floral Flower Power pattern offered as an interior seat & door panel package or vinyl top. The cars could be ordered with the Mod Top interior or vinyl top only or with both. Dodge offered the 1969 Dart, Coronet & Super Bee. Plymouths offerings were the 1969 Satellite and 1969 & 1970 Barracuda’s & Cuda’s.

Total production numbers for the 1969 & 1970 Barracuda’s & Cuda’s were approximately only 1021 cars. Only approximately 84 1970 Plymouths were produced. Everything from small blocks to a 440 has been documented and 4-speeds or automatics were available.
