Performance Years Enterprises is proud to announce our 7th Anniversary Official Pontiac Die Cast Commemorative Collectible. We will be offering a 1/18th scale Limited Edition die cast GTO. (stock #1812) Only 1000 GTOs will be made. 126 Special Black Chrome Finish Chase Cars & 6 GOLD Collector cars will also be produced. Performance Years Enterprises is once again honored to produce this official commemorative collectible for the 2005 National conventions of the GTO Association of America and the Pontiac-Oakland Club International.
The 1965 Hurst-GeeTO Tiger Contest car is this year’s feature car. I am sure many of you remember Pontiac & Hurst announcing a contest to give away a specially prepared 1965 GTO. The GTO was painted a special color; Hurst gold metallic with a black vinyl roof & parchment interior & was loaded with options along with a 389 Tri-Power 4-speed that was shifted by a real gold plated Hurst shifter. The car was delivered with red line tires and a special set of polished gold anodized Hurst Dazzler Wheels.
Motor Trend Car of the Year awarded to Pontiac Motor Division! The “lil GTO was very instrumental in Pontiac achieving this award with the success it achieved from last years introduction and to all of the new innovations & designs incorporated into the 1965 GTO.
Official Pace Car Announced! Yes, adding to all of the other accolades bestowed the 1965 GTO it was the feature car chosen to pace the Motor Trend Riverside 500 race at Riverside CA. Again George Hurst was generous to offer a 1965 GTO Convertible to pace the race cars and after the race George presented the Official GTO Pace Car to the winner; Dan Gurney and also another 1965 GTO convertible to a lucky ticket holder attending the race.
Our 1965 GeeTo Tiger will again come with a full size reproduction window sticker with your own matching VIN number from last years GTO. Please call or email soon if you would like to continue your matching serial number. Give us a call if interested in the matching Chase Car GTO, with only 126 being made these sell out quickly. They make for a very unique collectible. The Chase car & gold painted GTO are sold as a set for $150.00 ($5.00 discount). The regular edition Hurst Gold GTO is priced at $55.00.
