This car was made to approve the color combinations of exterior & interior colors, graphics placement, options, wheels, tires, fit & finish prior to going into manufacturing production...!

This collectible does come with "CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY"..!

I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Hwy. 61.

The car is in very nice condition, clean, no missing or broken parts..! It does have a small crack in the corner windshield and a small touch up on hood stripe.

This sample car does not come in a box..!

The car you see in these photos is the car we will ship out. We will pack very carefully.

This is a Rare Factory Sample Car..!

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. (As seen in these photos.) *~*~*

* Sample Car has a BLACK Shaker...production cars were all white. My opinion is the black actually looks better.

* Sample Car forgot to put the "MUSTANG" fender emblems on.

* Sample Car came with the stock dual exhaust outlets...production cars had the optional CHROME exhaust tips.

* Sample Car has a prototype style radio antenna that has a black base and has fixed height.

* Sample Car has clear front turn signal lamps...production cars had a light amber in the center of the turn signal lamps.

* Sample Car has a light tan steering wheel...production cars had a dark brown wood steering wheel.

* NOTE: The factory hand written stock number.

* Comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY..!

428 C.I., 4-speed, dual exhaust, "428" Shaker hood scoop, trunk mounted battery, Ford 9-inch rear axle with 3.91 ratio and a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential, front & rear spoilers, carpet, floor mats, seat belts poseable sun visors, tilting & sliding bucket seats, console, Mustang Magnum 500 road wheels & Goodyear white letter tires.

The 428 Cobra Jet engine with 335 horsepower and 440 foot-pounds of torque. The "shaker" hood scoop was available as an option.

Opening hood, doors & trunk, ALL with correct style hinges, steerable front wheels, working front & rear suspension, rotating drive shaft with rear wheels plus with all of cool features that the "Original Hwy 61" cars had..!
