Performance Years Enterprises would like to announce the 2005 Supercar Reunion
Official Event car. This year the SCR8 is dedicated to the Berger Chevrolet
family of Supercars. Several C.O.P.O. cars are already pre-registered. This
promises to be another great gathering of Supercars in one location.
The reunion will be held at the Gateway Center in Collinsville, IL. September
2nd & 3rd. Race day will be Friday at Gateway International Raceway.
Supercar and Musclecar show on Saturday.
The 8th Annual Supercar Reunion Diecast Collectible will be a 1969 Berger
C.O.P.O. Chevelle 427. This is a 1/18th scale limited edition of ONLY150
pieces. We then had the car outfitted for the 2005 Supercar Reunion. The car
has opening hood & doors. Highly detailed 427 engine, interior and
undercarriage and rides on Goodyear white letter tires and factory road wheels.
We then applied Red & Chrome Berger Chevrolet graphics to the doors and a
simulated etched glass “Super S” on the rear window. Special Illinois Collector
license plates were then made with Sept & 05 tags in the corners. Front
plate reads “Supercar Reunion” and the rear plate has your own serial number of
the 150 produced. Due to the request of you collectors, we have also applied a
larger Illinois Collector plate on the front of the box showing your special
serial number.
The window box was then decorated with a special “by Berger” decal and the 8th
Annual Supercar Reunion logo applied to the front. Dates, location and other
information are on the front of the box also.
Only 150 of these Berger C.O.P.O. Chevelle event cars will be produced!
With such a small number of cars and what is sure to be another GREAT Supercar
Reunion, please call early to reserve your car. Serial numbers will be held
until August 31st, 2005. Cars are due in September.
