I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III.

This is a Rare One Off Factory Sample Car, that was never put into production..!

This Sample Car is in near perfect condition..!

*As seen in these photos, this Sample Car has the wrong rear fender "Fuel Injection" emblems, car actually has the 283 Power Pack Engine.

*License plate is blank, no license number was assigned at time of this sample being made. Production license was "Louisiana" 307-528, 1957.

*This sample car has the wrong Nascar style front seat, AND the wrong color, silver/white, production car had a factory bench seat that was black & white.

*The engine is painted red, production car engine was painted Chevy Orange.

*Production car had an aftermarket floor shifter, this sample car has the wrong column shifter.

Opening hood, doors & trunk, scissor type hood hinges & real aspect style door hinges, steerable front wheels working suspension, wired & plumbed engine compartment, carpet, sliding & tilting front seat, poseable sun visors, rotating drive shaft with rear wheels, brake lines, detailed undercarriage, trunk mat, spare tire.
