This is a RARE One Off "Pre-Production Prototype-Sample car from Hwy. 61 / Diecast Promotions".

I have acquired several prototype "sample" cars from many manufactures in the last 29 plus years of being in business & I will be periodically adding them to the web site in the "** Factory Sample * Prototype Cars **" section located on the left margin under the "Special Interest" tab.

I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III.

This Sample Car is in near perfect condition.

Comes with a "Certificate Of Authenticity".

The car you see in these photos is the car we will ship out. This sample car was purchased without a box. We will pack very carefully & secure.

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. (As seen in these photos.) *~*~*

* This car has the wrong front bumper...(the production bumper with holes for a license plate) production car had the smooth front plate area panted flat black.

* This Sample Car is missing all of the "Factory Info Cards" on the windshield.

* The sample car air filter elements were not detail painted ivory...(they were left all chromed).

* This Sample Car came without the drop-down trunk separation panel...this was included on the real car & on the Production Cars.

* NOTE: The factory hand written stock number tag.

* Comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY..!

The first Hemi Cuda!

This is just how the racers received the cars from Chrysler. Race prepped by HURST..!

Primered body & the model even has plastic front end to simulate the fiberglass parts on the real car. Still has the assemble line notes on the windshield.

426 Hemi with 2 4-bbl. cross ram intake, headers, dual exhaust that exits just in front of rear axle., battery in the trunk, hood pins, sliding Dodge van seats, seat belts, carpet, window straps, deleted arm rests, correct steel wheels & narrow bias ply tires....just like it was delivered to the drag race teams.

Limited Edition of just 2500 cars..! Released back in 2005.

Comes in custom packaging.

Lift off hood with the Super Stock scoop, opening doors & trunk with the correct style hinges, steerable front wheels, working front & rear suspension, rotating drive shaft with rear wheels.
