I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Hwy. 61.

The car is in excellent condition, clean, no missing or broken parts..!

This sample car does not come in a box..!

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. As seen in these photos.*~*~*

* This sample car was specked out with the matching front mag wheels on the rear...the production car came with black steel drag wheels.

* Production Cars had a 4-speed transmission...Sample Car had an "automatic transmission brake pedal & no clutch pedal".

* This sample car had the bell housing painted silver...production cars bell housing had an ORANGE bell housing.

* This sample car was made prior to the commissioner (Supercar Collectibles) giving specific license plate details, that is why it has a plain white license plate on the front & rear of car. ( see photo #3 to see the production license plates & correct rear wheels)

* Comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY..!

Lift-Off hood, opening doors with correct style hinges, & opening trunk, steerable front wheels working suspension, wired & plumbed engine compartment, carpet, seat belts, rotating drive shaft. Plus all of the cool working features Hwy 61 puts in, very detailed!

LIMITED EDITION OF ONLY 504 CARS..!

This car is based off of the '68 Super Stock Dart...radiused rear wheel wells, lift off super stock hood, 426 Hemi, 4-speed shifter, headers with mufflers that dump out by the Dana rear end. Front mags with slicks on the back & skinnies up front.

This is a very cool looking car set up just like back in the day heading out to a remote black top road to do battle..!
