I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III of Hwy.61.

This is a Rare One Off Factory Pre-Production Sample Car..!

This Sample Car is in mint condition.

Comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.

Some of the differences of the Sample Car to the Production Car are: * Sample Car has Fuel Injection emblems on the fenders, * Engine is red, not Chevy orange * Sample car has the "CHEVROLET" script emblems on the hood & trunk...these were deleted on the production cars, * Production cars had RED wheels, not black, * Spare tire should be painted RED, * The production Car had a rear mounted radio antenna on the passenger rear quarter panel, * This sample car has the race car headers & side exit exhaust, production cars had stock exhaust, * The rear package shelf & rear speaker grill should be panted black, * Hand written stock number on gas tank.

1957 Chevy Bel Air "Fire Chief" car, #38. Gorgeous bright red paint with white top, Fire Chief & Badge graphics on the door, hood & trunk.

283 Fuel Injection, manual trans., duel exhaust, 2-tone interior, carpet, front seat slides back & forth, trunk mat & spare tire, removable red emergency light & radio antenna.

Opening hood, doors & trunk, scissor type hood hinges & real aspect style door hinges, steerable front wheels working suspension, wired & plumbed engine compartment, rotating drive shaft with rear wheels.

Nice detail. Plus all of the cool working features Hwy. 61 puts in.
