From "Hwy. 61 / Diecast Promotions", used to proof the colors, graphics placement, fit & finish prior to going into manufacturing...!

This is a Rare Factory Sample Car..!

*Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. As seen in these photos.*

* The sample car did not have the "black-out" front grill paint, it was all purple...the production car had the correct black painted grill.

* The sample car's Super Charger & other engine components were not chrome plated...production cars Super Charger, air tube, etc were correctly chrome plated.

* The sample car had clear back-up lamps...production car did not have these.

* The sample car had the wrong "CHALLENGER" name plate on front engine panel...production car had "CUDA" name plate.

* The sample car had the wrong "CHALLENGER" door sill plates...production car was corrected to "CUDA" door sills.

* The sample car had the wrong "CHALLENGER" dash name plate...production car was corrected to the "CUDA" dash plate.

* The sample car had "CHALLENEGER" script on all four brake calipers production cars were left bare.

* NOTE the factory hand written stock number tag on gas tank.
