I have acquired several prototype "sample" cars from many manufactures in the last 28 plus years of being in business & I will be periodically adding them to the web site in the "** Factory Sample * Prototype Cars **" section located on the left margin under the "Special Interest" tab.

This is a Rare One Off Factory Pre-Production Sample Car..!

This Sample Car is in near perfect condition.

Comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.

The car you see in these photos is the car we will ship out. This sample did come in a box. We will pack very carefully & secure.

*** This is a list of some of the inaccuracies of this sample car:

* No grill detail with black paint.

* "PLYMOUTH" decal on front header panel is too far inward.

* It has the Sample Water Slide decals "Barracuda" & 440 'Cuda" emblems.

* It has 1968 Trunk Panel painted BRIGHT red.

* The Tail Lights are ALL CHROME, no red detail.

* There is NO WOODGRAIN on the front inner door panels.

* There is NO WOODGRAIN on the dash.

* Sample car has a 4-Speed transmission & clutch pedal with an Automatic Shifter; production car had an automatic trans.

* This sample car was based on the drag car body, which means:

* No windshield wiper provisions.

* It has the chrome rear view mirror block off plate instead of a rear view mirror.

* Sample car does not have the spare tire.

* There are holes for the race car battery in the trunk.

"Production Car" Specifications: '69 Cuda 440, 727 automatic.

Opening "Dual Scoop Sport Hood" with correct type hinges, opening doors with real aspect ratio hinges & opening trunk, steerable front wheels working suspension, rotating drive shaft with rear tires.

Fully wired & plumbed engine compartment, carpet, sliding & tilting bucket seats, seat belts, center console, check out the rear seat back even folds down like the real car, opening glove box, spare tire, and underneath is a detailed chassis with dual exhaust, Dodge wheel caps & red line tires.
