This car was made to approve the color combinations of exterior & interior colors, graphics placement, options, wheels & tires, fit & finish prior to going into manufacturing production...!

This collectible does come with "CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY"..!

I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Hwy. 61.

The car is in excellent condition, clean, no missing or broken parts..!

This sample car does not come in a box..!

This is a Rare Factory Sample Car..!

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. As seen in these photos.*~*~*

* The mag wheels used on this sample car were painted a "dark gold"...production cars had brighter finish.

* This sample car is missing the "Bel Air" emblems on the rear quarter panels.

* The production cars had a custom side exit exhaust that exited right in front of the rear tires...this sample car has the stock full exhaust.

* This sample car has the stock spare tire...the production cars had a Mag Wheel & White Letter Tire for the spare.

* The sample car had many errors to the interior: the seats were way to light of shade of red and black...the production cars had "dark red & BLACK" seats.

* The center sections of the front seats & back seat should be BLACK...not red.

* Wrong red color on the rear package shelf...it is BLACK on the production cars.

* NOTE: Production stock number was written on the gas tank at factory.

* "Certificate Of Authenticity" included.

*** This is the car used for Hwy. 61's color catalog (as seen in photos, Note the full exhaust, darker colored wheels & missing "Bel Air" emblems in the catalog photo).

Custom candy red metallic paint with a Great Looking Flame Job and custom red & black 2-tone interior..!

283 Fuel Injected, 4-speed, dual exhaust that exits just in front of the rear wheels, "Gold Trim Package" with the gold front grill, front, rear & side emblems, mag wheels with white letter tires..!

Opening hood, doors & trunk, scissor type hood hinges & real aspect style door hinges, steerable front wheels working suspension, wired & plumbed engine compartment, carpet, sliding & tilting front seat, poseable sun visors, rotating drive shaft with rear wheels, brake lines, detailed undercarriage, trunk mat, spare Mag wheel & tire.

Very Detailed with all of the cool working features Hwy. 61 includes..!
