This collectible does come with "CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY"..!

I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Hwy. 61.

The car is in excellent condition, clean, no missing or broken parts..!

This sample car does not come in a box..!

This is a Rare Factory Sample Car..!

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. As seen in these photos.*~*~*

* The Production Car had a white painted roof...Sample Car is solid color.

* The factory got the dusk pearl color a little to dark on Sample Car...it was corrected on the Production Car.

* Sample Car has the "Fuel Injection" emblems on the fenders...Production Car did not have these.

* This Sample Car came with slicks & narrow drag front tires...Production car had stock tires & wide white walls.

* This Sample Car has Mag front wheels & black steelies on the back.

* This Sample Car has Dual Rear Radio Antennas...the Production Car only had One Antenna on passenger side.

* This Sample Car came with "Seat Belts" they were not available on a 1957 Chevy & were not on the Production Cars.

* This Sample Car came with a "Custom Floor Shifter" and "The Factory Column Shifter"...the Production cars only had the factory column shifter.

* This Sample Car has the 283 Dual 4 bbls and Aftermarket Chrome Air Cleaners...The Production Car came with the "Factory Power Pack" (factory dual 4 bbls, intake & air cleaners).

* This Sample Car has aftermarket "Exhaust Headers"...Production Car has the stock full exhaust.

* This sample Car has "2 Extra Fuel Tank Straps...the production Car ONLY has the 2 Horizontal Straps.

* This sample car has a "Mag Wheel & Tire" for a spare...Production Cars had a "Stock Wheel & Tire" for a spare.

* The Sample Car rear speaker grill is body colored...it should be Black.

* The sample car is missing the "factory V.I.N. number" on the drivers door frame.

* Sample Car has wrong License Plates (ZMM-244, CA. 1963)...Production Cars came with (EJ-402, NC. 1957)

* NOTE: the factory hand written stock number.

* Comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY..!

Opening hood, doors & trunk, scissor type hood hinges & real aspect style door hinges, steerable front wheels working suspension, wired & plumbed engine compartment, carpet, sliding & tilting front seat, poseable sun visors, rotating drive shaft with rear wheels, brake lines, detailed undercarriage, trunk mat, spare tire.

Very Detailed with all of the cool working features "The Original" Hwy. 61 includes..!
