This is a "SAMPLE Model" From "Hwy. 61 / Diecast Promotions".

This car was made to approve the color combinations of exterior & interior colors, graphics placement, options, wheels & tires, fit & finish prior to going into manufacturing production...! But...this car never went into production..!

This collectible does come with "CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY"..!

I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Hwy. 61.

The car is in very nice condition, it is missing the left outer mirror & tie rod linkage.

This sample car does not come in a box..!

The car you see in these photos is the car we will ship out. We will pack very carefully.

* This car has a 4-speed transmission but has an AUTOMATIC brake pedal.

* This car is missing the CLUTCH PEDAL & CORRECT BRAKE PEDAL.

* This sample car has a "chromed" spare wheel...it should be Black.

* Missing the front & rear license plates...they had not assigned a plate designation to this car.

* The L-69 400 C.I. engine should have the CHROME VALVE COVERS.

* The engine color is wrong.

* The transmission color is wrong.

* Comes with "Certificate Of Authenticity"
