I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Hwy. 61.

The car is in very nice condition, clean, no missing parts, the front steering rod is broken..!

This sample car does not come in a box..!

This is a Rare Factory Sample Car..!

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. "As seen in these photos" *~*~*

* NOTE: The production car has the L-69 Tri-Power engine with the O.A.I COLD AIR INDUCTION...This SAMPLE CAR has the wrong L69 400 C.I. 4bbl. * Production Car has the O.A.I. (Outside Air Induction) scoops in the front bumper...this car is missing the ram air tubes & front bumper air inlets.

* With the correct O.A.I. the front turn signals are mounted inward...sample car turn signals are mounted in wrong position.

* The spare tire should be BLACK.

* The engine & transmission are wrong colors.

* Should have CHROME VALVE COVERS.

* The steering wheel center spokes should be CHROME.

* This Sample Car has the manual transmission clutch & brake pedals...Production car has the automatic transmission brake pedal.

* NOTE: The factory hand written stock number.

* Comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY..!
