The car is in good condition, clean, no missing or broken parts..!

This sample car comes in a MINT box..!

This is a Rare Factory Sample Car..!

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. As seen in these photos.*~*~*

* The white stripes on this car is plain white...should be PEARL WHITE METALLIC.

* The orange stripes on this sample...should be ORANGE METALLIC.

* The orange, black & white stripes are wrong...the stripe lines were corrected for production cars.

* This sample car does not have the correct stripes continuing on the front & rear valance panels.

* This sample car is missing the SS/D 7332 Class numbers on windshield & back window.

* It is missing the "Dick Landy" name on roof sail panel.

* It is missing the "DLI" Dick Landy Industries decals on front bumper & valve covers.

* It is missing the Champion Spark Plugs decal on inner fender wells.

* Some of the contingency decals were wrong colors and or design.

* The contingency decals are the wrong size.

* Sample car is missing the "Monroe", "Speed Pro" & "Liberty Gears" contingency decals on fenders & rear quarter panels.

* The DLI decal is wrong colors.

* The aluminum intake is not painted silver.

* The engine compartment is orange...it should be white.

* The bottom of the hood should be painted black.

* This sample car has Cragar S/S "5-Spoke mags...we (PYE) commissioned Ertl for NEW TOOLING for the Cragar Super Tricks Mag wheels.

* This sample car is missing the "Firestone Drag 500" white lettered tires.

* This sample car has the dual exhaust rear valance panel...production cars had the full rear valance panel.

* This sample car has the Challenger T/A rear spoiler...this was not used on the production cars.

* This sample car is missing the fuel pressure gauge on the hood.

* The sample car does not have the front & rear marker lamps painted in.

* This sample car is missing the roll bar.

* The sample car headers are black...production car headers are WHITE.

* The sample car is missing the header collector pipes.

* NOTE: The factory blue SAMPLE TAG attached to the rear wheel..!

1970 426 Hemi Challenger R/T, Super Stock/D

Dick added the Challenger T/A hood for the fresh air scoop to his Challenger R/T..!

Opening hood & doors, steerable front wheels, Cragar Super Trick mag wheels, Firestone white letter slicks & skinnies, 426 Hemi, dual 4 barrels, aluminum intake, headers, 4-speed, hood pins, bucket seats, roll bar, fuel pressure gauge on hood & tachometer on the dash.

Comes in Custom "NHRA 50th ANNIVERSARY" Packaging..!
