I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III.

This Sample Car is in near perfect mint condition, no missing or broken parts.

* Sample car has "440 SIX PACK" emblems on hood...this is a 340 car.

* Sample Car has "Challenger T/A" exhaust...should have the full dual exhaust out the back.

* This sample car is missing the "CHALLENGER" emblem on the trunk lid.

* This sample car has the "R/T Black-Out trim" on the rear tail light panel. (production cars did not have this, it should be body colored)

* This sample car should have come with the "Challenger" script fender emblems.

* This sample car came with the front "Chin Spoilers" (these were NOT factory available for this car).

* The sample car grill is painted all BLACK...no detail.

* The "Challenger" grill emblem is painted BLACK.

* Sample car has blank SAMPLE license plates...should have NY state plates 8HL 026.

* Sample Car has "hood pins" ...production cars did not have hood pins.

* This sample car does not have the center console.

* Sample car has dark gray 1971 Rally wheel center caps...these were corrected on the production cars.

* This sample car is missing the air cleaner base..!

* The air cleaner "340 Pie Tin" is installed backwards.

* The transmission bell housing should be painted silver.

* Note the hand written "sample stock number" on the gas tank.

**Opening hood with real scissor type hinges, opening doors with real aspect ratio hinges & opening trunk, steerable front wheels working suspension, wired & plumbed engine compartment, carpet, seat belts, opening glove box, rotating drive shaft with rear wheels.

Plus all of the cool working features Hwy. 61 puts in.
