I have acquired several prototype "sample" cars from many manufactures in the last 29 plus years of being in business, I will be periodically adding them to the web site in the "** Factory Sample * Prototype Cars **" section located on the left margin under the "Special Interest" tab.

I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III.

This is a Rare One-Off Factory Pre-Production Sample Car..!

This Sample Car is in near perfect mint condition, no missing or broken parts.

Comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.

The car you see in these photos is the car we will ship out. This sample did not come in a box. We will pack very carefully & secure.

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. (As seen in these photos.) *~*~*

* This sample car is missing the "302" emblems on the cowl sides of the hood.

* Sample car "rally-sport" fender emblems are positioned too high up.

* Sample car "Z/28" fender emblems are placed too close to the side marker lamps.

* This sample car's 302 small block has the big block Chevrolet exhaust manifolds installed.

* There is no white air filter detail paint for the air filter element.

* This sample car has the wrong under hood cowl induction pad.

* Sample Car is missing the emissions canister.

* This car still has the "blank sample license plates" should be CA. plate-HDB 832.

* Note the stock number on bottom of chassis.
