I have acquired several prototype "sample" cars from many manufactures in the last 29 plus years of being in business, I will be periodically adding them to the web site in the "** Factory Sample * Prototype Cars **" section located on the left margin under the "Special Interest" tab.

I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III.

This is a Rare One-Off Factory Pre-Production Sample Car..!

This Sample Car is in near perfect mint condition, no missing or broken parts.

Comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.

The car you see in these photos is the car we will ship out. This sample did not come in a box. We will pack very carefully & secure.

* This Sample car has a 1968 Dart grill installed.

* Sample Car does NOT have windshield wipers.

* The whole under carriage is painted green...should just have the green over spray.

* Should NOT have a Tachometer" on the dash.

* Has the wrong Steering Wheel...should be a black steering wheel.

* Sample car has bucket seats...should be a bench seat.

* Sample has a center console...should not have this.

* Sample has a 4-speed shifter...the production car is an automatic trans.

* Sample has the wrong bell housing.

* Sample Car has carpet...production Dart was a carpet delete car.

* This sample Car has a 383 big block engine...Dodge Dart Swingers had a 340 small block.

* Should not have chrome valve covers.

* Sample is missing the oil filter.

* Sample is missing the red starter power wire.

* Note: the incorrect color for the license plates & the horizontal lines.

Opening hood, doors & trunk, steerable front wheels working suspension, wired & plumbed engine compartment, carpet, seat belts, opening glove box, trunk mat with jack, rotating drive shaft with rear wheels. Plus all of the cool working features Hwy 61 puts in.
