* This is the original SAMPLE #1 car hand made at Ertl special "Private Brand" sample department in Dyersville IA.

* The graphics & lettering are all hand created graphics with several hand painted details to be sent to their China factory.

* Many added details were requested by PYE to make this model as authentic as possible.

* The color used on this sample car was waaay too dark & was not metallic.

* This Sample car has red line tires...it should have WHITE LETTER tires.

* The Hurst mag wheels had silver spokes the real wheels were ALL gold.

* The tail light panel was painted black...it should be body color.

* Has blank sample license plates.

* Note the hand painted gas tank detail.

* Comes with the Sample Window Sticker.

* Comes with the Sample Box art.

* NOTE: The factory blue SAMPLE TAG attached to the rear wheel..!

1966 GTO Royal Bobcat Hurst Edition for the Pontiac / GTO 2001 Nationals. This is PYE Issue #3..!

We are also honoring "Pontiacs 75th Anniversary" and the "35th Anniversary of the 1966 GTO"..!

Performance Years Enterprises is proud to announce their partnership with the Pontiac-Oakland Club International (POCI) and the GTO Association of America (GTOAA).

We are honored to have both clubs sponsor the PYE Pontiac Issue #3 for 2001.

For the very first time both clubs will be holding their national events back to back at the same location. This year it was held in Red Wing, MN and hosted by the POCI Tomahawk Chapter and the GTOAA Land Of Lakes GTO Club.

The 2001 Pontiac Issue #3 car is a 1966 GTO Royal Bobcat Hurst Edition painted in barrier blue with a white interior and RED fender liners. It will be rolling on the ultra rare GOLD anodized Hurst Dazzler wheels with Firestone white letter tires and shifted by a GOLD plated Hurst shifter. Included will be a Ram Air tub, sports steering wheel and many extra paint details to the body, undercarriage, interior and under hood.

Note the POCI Nats front license plate AND the GTOAA Nats rear license plate.

Royal Bobcat decal on front fenders & check out "Philoh" on the vent windows..!

Also has the "Hurst 4-Speed" decal & the "Hurst Hustler Club" decal on rear window & the "Hurst Equipped" decal on left rear trunk lid..!

Comes with full size NUMBERED reproduction window sticker!
