I have acquired several prototype "sample" cars from many manufactures in the last 29 plus years of being in business, I will be periodically adding them to the web site in the "** Factory Sample * Prototype Cars **" section located on the left margin under the "Special Interest" tab.

I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III.

* This Sample Car was never released into production as is..!

* This Sample Car has an incorrect BLACK painted top. The production car had a white top.

* This sample car came with a Tri-Tone yellow/black & gray interior. The production car has a Tri-Tone gray interior.

* This Sample Cars spare tire has the full wheel cover on it...production cars had a yellow painted steel spare wheel.

* This car is missing the V.I.N. plate in drivers inner door jam.

* The rear speaker grill should be painted black.

* The license plate is wrong, production car had a Pennsylvania state plate reading 56D78.
