I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Hwy. 61.

The car is in excellent condition, clean, no missing or broken parts..!

This sample car DOES come with a production outer box..!

This is a Rare Factory Sample Car..!

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. (As seen in these photos.) *~*~*

* NOTE: the yellow R/T side stripe...should have been Chartreuse (lime green) stripes.

* The Yellow side stripe is a "water slide" type of graphic which has more gloss than the factory painted stripes.

* Sample car has "rear mount" radio antenna...should be on front fender.

* Sample car has a "silver grill"...should be flat black.

* Sample car has "1971 Rally Wheels"...should be 1970 Rally Wheels with the silver centers. * Sample Car is missing the "Penta Star" fender emblem on right fender.

* The Chrome Exhaust Tips are set in way to far inward...not sticking out beyond the rear valence.

* Sample under carriage is painted an incorrect light green.

* Sample has blank "Sample Plates"...should be Colorado State / VA-8642.

* NOTE: the factory stock number tag on gas tank.

* Comes with "Certificate Of Authenticity"

Plus all of the cool working features Hwy. 61 put in.
