I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Hwy. 61.

The car is in excellent condition, clean, no missing or broken parts..!

This sample car DOES come with the outer box..!

This is a Rare Factory Sample Car..!

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. (As seen in these photos.) *~*~*

* The "DODGE" emblem on the hood is a decal on gloss black...the production car has separate DODGE letters.

* The sample car "R/T" fender decal is all chrome...production cars were red on chrome letters.

* The sample car does NOT have the "R/T" trunk emblem.

* The sample car "Challenger" trunk emblem is positioned too far to the right.

* The color of the sample car's Yellow Bumble Bee stripe is too light of yellow.

* This sample car has a "340 Six Pack" small block engine...the production cars have a "440 Six Pack big block engine.

* Sample car has SAMPLE blank license plates...production cars plates were "Texas" FNJ-675.

* The dual exhaust tips on the sample car is positioned too far inward...production car exhaust sticks out even with the rear valance panel.

* NOTE: The factory hand written stock number.

* Comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY..!

440-Six Pack, pistol grip 4-speed, J54 Power Dome hood, rallye gauge cluster, wood steering wheel, sliding & tilting bucket seats, carpet, seat belts, opening glove box, poseable sun visors, trunk mat, jack, space saver spare tire, dual painted sport mirrors, dual exhaust with chrome splitter exhaust tips, Rallye wheels and Goodyear white letter tires.

Opening hood, doors & trunk all with correct style hinges, steerable front wheels, working suspension, wired & plumbed engine compartment, rotating drive shaft with rear wheels. Plus all of the cool working features "The ORIGINAL" Hwy 61 put in..!
