This car was made to approve the color combinations of exterior & interior colors, graphics placement, options, wheels, tires, fit & finish prior to going into manufacturing production...!

I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Hwy. 61.
The car is in excellent MINT condition, clean, no missing or broken parts..!
This sample car does not come in a box..!

* Sample Car is missing the Mustang grill emblem.
* Sample Car is missing the front spoiler.
* Sample Car should not have the optional Mustang "Black Tail Light Panel"...production car did not have.
* Sample Car should not have the optional Black Pin Stripe on trunk lid.
* Sample Car is missing the Center Console.
* Sample Car shift "T-Handle" is missing the "H shift pattern".
* The sample car is missing the factory Boss 429 Battery in the trunk. Sample car has a regular spare tire in the battery location.
* Sample Car rear axle housing is painted bright red...production car is painted the correct RED OXIDE color.
* NOTE: The factory hand written stock number.
* Comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY..!
