I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Hwy. 61.

The car is in excellent MINT condition, clean, no missing or broken parts..!

This sample car does not come in a box..!

This is a Rare Factory Sample Car..!

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. (As seen in these photos.) *~*~*

* This was a run of 600 Limited Production Cars.

* The "DODGE R/T" side stripes were very rare. As noted on this sample, the "DODGE" was on a WHITE back ground...this was incorrect & fixed on the production cars.

* The "DODGE" front hood emblem was on a glossy back ground...this was corrected to separate letters on the production cars.

* This Sample Car has a "sample front grill" the "R/T" emblem is too far towards the center & positioned too far high.

* The production cars had an automatic shifter & console...this sample car has a 4-speed transmission.

* This Sample Car has a clutch pedal & a manual transmission brake pedal but has an automatic shifter.

* The air cleaner on sample car has the air inlets facing the wrong way.

* Sample Car is missing the "Air Cleaner service" decal.

* This Sample Car has the sample blank chrome plates...production cars license plates were "M57-457"

* NOTE: The factory hand written stock number.

* Comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY..!

Opening hood with real scissor type hinges, opening doors with real aspect ratio hinges & opening trunk, steerable front wheels working suspension, wired & plumbed engine compartment, carpet, seat belts, trunk mat, opening glove box, opening gas cap door, rotating drive shaft with rear wheels.

Plus all of the cool working features Hwy 61 puts in. Very Detailed..!
