This car was made to approve the color combinations of exterior & interior colors, graphics placement, options, wheels, tires, fit & finish prior to going into manufacturing production...!

This collectible does come with "CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY"..!

I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Highway 61 Collectibles.

The car is in excellent condition, clean, no dust it is missing two injector stacks.

This sample car DOES come with an outer box..!

The car & box you see in these photos is the car we will ship out. We will pack very carefully.

This is a Rare Factory Sample Car..!

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. (As seen in these photos.) *~*~*

* Sample Car comes with a "FLAT BLACK" grill, Production Cars had a standard chrome grill...my opinion is the flat black grill looks better on this all black custom car.

* Production Cars DID NOT have a Tachometer on the dash.

* Production Cars have a 4-Speed TRANSMISSION with a FLOOR MOUNTED SHIFTER, CLUTCH PEDAL & MANUAL TRANSMISSION BRAKE PEDAL.

* This Sample Car has an AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION...should be a 4-speed.

* This sample Car has an incorrect automatic transmission Brake Pedal.

* Sample Car does NOT have the 4-Speed FLOOR SHIFTER...it has the Automatic Shift Lever.

* The rear license plate is installed UP-SIDE-DOWN...mounting slots should be on top.

* The Sample Car trunk mounted Battery is missing several paint details.

* The BALLAST RESISTOR mounted on the firewall should be painted tan.

* The silver IMSPECTION PLATE mounted on the driver side of oil pan was NOT INSTALLED.

* NOTE: The factory hand written stock number tag on chassis.

* Comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY..!

* Comes with outer display box.

This is a replica AWB, AFX Plymouth. Fuel Injected Hemi, 4-speed.

This car comes with a complete customizable decal sheet so you can create your own drag car with your own personal touches..!

ONLY 300 CARS WERE PRODUCED..!

** Comes in a Supercar Collectibles Custom Highway 61 Window Display Box..!

Features include a lift off hood with hood pins, opening doors & trunk with correct style hinges, steerable front wheels, working suspension, rotating driveshaft with rear wheels.

Fully wired and plumbed 426 Hemi with the injectors, 4-speed, Dana rear axle, accurate single seat race interior with cloth seat belts, carpet, aftermarket gauges in the dash, roll bar, rear seat delete. The trunk opens to see the larger battery mounted back there with wiring the chassis has the moved forward front X-member, fuel pumps, and real metal leaf springs, rear parachute & American Racing Torque Thrust mag wheels with slicks & skinnies.

Very detailed..! With many more cool details that "The ORIGINAL" Highway 61 put into their cars.
