I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Highway 61 Collectibles.

The car is in excellent condition, clean, no missing or broken parts..!

This sample car does not come in a box..!

This is a Rare Factory Sample Car..!

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. (As seen in these photos.) *~*~*

* This is a "2 LEVEL SAMPLE CAR"...Number 1 is a Sample Car of the #50625 white R01 Super Stock Hemi Belvedere...Number 2 is that it is a "TEST FIT" CAR for the Race Decal Sheet that was included with the production cars.

* Highway 61 applied the race car decals to assure fit of the 1/18th scale contingency decals & stripes.

* This Sample Car has white letter "Good Year" slicks...production cars did not come with these tires.

* Photo of the Highway 61 Catalog shows a front license plate along with some "Sample Race Decals & Stripes"...production cars did not come with a front license plate OR these stripes.

* The Production Cars have a "Tachometer" on the dash...this sample car does not have one installed.

* The Sample Car has a "Sox & Martin" "Plymouth Makes It!" rear license plate...the production cars did not have a rear license plate.

* This sample Car is equipped with a "Sox & Martin" BLUE PAINTED Hemi Engine...production cars came with a "Race Hemi Orange" color.

* NOTE: The factory hand written stock number on the chassis.

* Comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY..!

R01 Super Stock 426 Hemi, 4-speed, headers, Super Stock hood scoop, battery in the trunk option, carburetor seals in the trunk, tachometer on the dash, rear seat delete. Very cool..!

Opening Super Stock hood, doors & trunk, with all correct hinges, steerable front wheels, working suspension, wired & plumbed engine compartment, carpet, opening glove box, bucket seats, seat belts, working suspension, rotating drive shaft with rear wheels.

Plus all of the cool working features "The ORIGINAL" Highway 61 put in.
