This car was made to approve the color combinations of exterior & interior colors, graphics placement, options, wheels, tires, fit & finish prior to going into manufacturing production...!

This collectible does come with "CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY"..!

I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Highway 61 Collectibles.

The car is in excellent condition, clean, no missing parts, the left side of rear spoiler is broken.

This sample car COMES with an outer box..!

This is a Rare Factory Sample Car..!

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. (As seen in these photos.) *~*~*

** The Sample Car does NOT have the Front Spoiler, it did not even have the attachment holes drilled for the front spoiler.

* The production "Super Street" version did NOT have the "Boss 429" fender decals applyed...they are incorrectly added to this sample car.

* This SAMPLE CAR has the "American Racing Torq Thrust" mag wheels AND the "GoodYear" white letter tires...the production Super Street car has "Cragar Centerline" mag wheels AND Firestone" white letter tires.

* The Sample Car does NOT have the Center Console...production cars did have the center console.

* The Sample Car has the standard BLACK steering wheel...the production cars had the optional Brown Wood Grain steering wheel.

* This Sample Car has the standard Spare Tire in the stock location...the production Super Street Boss 429 has the Spare Tire mounted center front of the trunk.

* This Sample Car has the Battery mounted in the engine compartment...the Boss 429 Mustangs have the Battery mounted in the trunk.

* This Sample Car is missing the "Mustang" grill mounted emblem.

* The 9 Inch rear axle is painted Bright Red on this Sample Car...the production cars are painted the correct Red Oxide color.

* NOTE: The factory hand written stock number on the muffler.

* Comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY..!

1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 "Super Street" Limited Edition..! 429 C.I., 4-speed, dual exhaust, "429" hood scoop, window slat louvers, trunk mounted battery, Ford 9-inch rear axle with 3.91 ratio and a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential, front & rear spoilers, carpet, floor mats, seat belts poseable sun visors, tilting & sliding bucket seats, console, Cragar Center Line mag wheels with Firestone white letter tires.

Opening hood, doors & trunk, ALL with correct style hinges, steerable front wheels, working front & rear suspension, rotating drive shaft with rear wheels plus with all of cool features that the "Original Hwy 61" cars had..!
