This sample car was created for Performance Years Enterprises.

I have acquired several prototype "sample" cars from many manufactures in the last 29 plus years of being in business, I will be periodically adding them to the web site in the "** Factory Sample * Prototype Cars **" section located on the left margin under the "Special Interest" tab.

This is a Rare One-Off Sample Car..!

This Sample Car is in near perfect mint condition, no missing or broken parts.

Comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.

The car you see in these photos is the car we will ship out. This sample comes with an outer window display box. We will pack very carefully & secure.

* This was China pre-production sample car.

* This PONTIAC emblem on the nose should be Black & Silver.

* This GTO emblems on the rear quarter panels should be BLACK.

* This GTO stripes should not come to a point on front fenders.

* Sample Car does not have the silver trim around the front turn signals.

* This Sample Car had the radio antenna mounted on front fender...it should be on rear quarter panel.

* This Sample Car did not have the "Window Sticker".

* The rear part of the door panels were not painted black.

* This Sample Car does not have the air filter element details.

* The drive shaft was not painted gray, it was corrected at Ertl, Dyersville IA.

* The mufflers were not detailed, these were painted at Ertl, Dyersville IA.<.p> * This Sample Car has the sample license plates.

* Note the "Ertl Private Brand Sample" hang tag. This was used to assign to the dealer that commissioned this model "Performance Years Enterprises"
