This car was acquired directly from"Fred Ertl III" (Hwy. 61).

This is a Rare One Off Factory Pre-Production Sample Car..!

This is also a "CATALOG CAR" the car Hwy. 61 used for their color catalog..!

*** PLEASE NOTE THE DIFFERENCES of this sample car to the factory production car:

* This sample car was made with the black steel wheels, the production car had body colored wheels.

* This car has the aftermarket exhaust headers, the production car had the factory headers with cut-outs & factory exhaust.

* This car did not have the spare tire & carburetor to Super Stock hood seals in the trunk.

* This actual car was photographed for the Hwy. 61 Catalog..! (see bottom photo)

* Comes with "CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY"..!

* Comes in the factory window box.

1965 Plymouth Super Stock, Lightweight 426 Race Hemi. An original RO factory race car, #82 of the 102 produced.

Super Stock/A drag car owned & driven by "Leo Simpson". Sponsored by "Mingle Motor Co., Chrysler/Plymouth" out of Port Arthur TX.

The production car was a Limited Edition of Only 600 cars..!

Very detailed car with opening Super Stock hood with correct scissor type hood hinges, opening doors and trunk with correct style hinges, fully wired & plumbed engine compartment, steerable front wheels, working suspension, drive shaft rotates with rear wheels, opening glove box.

426 Super Stock, dual 4 bbl. carbs., headers, automatic, battery in the trunk with wiring, Tachometer on the dash, carpet, seat belts, slicks & skinnies, Super Stock hood & interior with race seats & rear seat delete..!
