I purchased this sample car directly from Fred Ertl III / Highway 61 Collectibles.

The car is in excellent condition, clean, no missing or broken parts..!

This sample car does not come in a box.

This is a Rare Factory Sample Car..!

*~*~* Some of the issues on this Sample Car that was corrected for the production cars. (As seen in these photos.) *~*~*

* This SAMPLE CAR has "BLACK" rally wheels center caps...the production cars have the correct "Silver Argent" painted wheel center caps.

* This Sample Car has incorrect "G-70 14" white letter tire sizes on the front...production cars have the correct "E-60 15" Good Year white letter tires.

* This Sample Car has incorrect "G-70 14" white letter tire sizes on the REAR...production cars have the correct "G-60 15" Good Year white letter tires.

* The Sample Car has the wrong front license plate: MY XTC Utah...it shuld be: NCR 525 Michigan front & rear license plates.

* This Sample Car is missing the "front CHIN spoilers"...there is no evidence these were ever installed even though the mounting holes were punched for them.

* The 1970 Dodge performance cars like this T/A and R/T had the rear tail panel painted FLAT BLACK...this Sample Car is incorrect with the body colored tail panel.

* This Sample Car has the wrong air cleaner lid...it shows "472"...the production Challenger T/A's have the correct stock "340 SIX PACK" air cleaner lid.

* NOTE: The factory hand written stock number tag on the rear chassis.

* NOTE: the bottom photo..! It shows the "2-CAR" Challenger Set both painted in limelight green. (THIS WAS THE ONLY WAY TO GET THESE 2 CHALLENGERS IN THIS COLOR COMBINATION..!

THE ONLY WAY TO GET THIS 1970 CHALLENGER IN THIS FF4 COLOR COMBINATION WAS TO PURCHAE THE 2-CAR SET..!

1970 Dodge Challenger T/A, 340 SIX PAK, pistol grip 4-speed, T/A hood, hood pins, front chin spoilers, rear spoiler, side exit exhaust, rally wheels & white letter tires.

Opening hood, doors & trunk, all with correct hinges, steerable front wheels, working suspension, wired & plumbed engine compartment, power dome T/A hood, dual sport mirrors, carpet, seat belts, buckets, console, wood steering wheel, spare tire & jack in the trunk, detailed undercarriage with rotating drive shaft with rear wheels.
