This car was acquired from "Fred Ertl III". I will be periodically adding these Sample Cars to the web site in the "** Factory Sample * Prototype Cars **" section located on the left margin under the "Special Interest" tab.

This SAMPLE CAR was a "Paint and Deco" Sample.

All of the graphics on this car were applied by the Hwy. 61 prototype team for inspection by the consigner for correct colors, size & placement. (as seen in the photos). The production cars received the tampo painted graphics.

The car is in near mint condition with no paint problems or missing parts.

This car has NO BOX. The car you see in these photos is the car we will ship out. We will pack very carefully.

Replica of the famous Chevrolet 150 factory race car... "The Black Widow"

In 1957 Chevrolet released a "150 Business Coupe" with a potent 283 C.I. Turbo Fire V8 coupled with the new Ram Jet Fuel Injection, headers, dual exhaust with side exit in front of rear tires and Saginaw manual transmission, Nascar style front seat with side support bolster, race style driver seat belt.

These were a very Limited Run of cars & painted black & white and were soon known as the "BLACK WIDOW"..!

These soon became a favorite of all the race car drivers.

This is a replica of #46 driven by "Speedy Thompson".

Opening hood, doors & trunk, scissor type hood hinges & real aspect style door hinges, steerable front wheels working suspension, wired & plumbed engine compartment, roll bar, sliding & tilting front seat, poseable sun visors, rotating drive shaft with rear wheels, brake lines, detailed undercarriage, trunk mat, spare tire.
