We received this car from the factory with the right front wheel broken off and the right rear wheel has a crack in the center of the wheel. Our Sun Star representative told us that some of the cars were screwed down to the base to tightly from the factory putting stress on the axles.

This car is in mint condition other wise, no paint issues or missing parts. Shipping straps are still on the hood & doors the T-tops are secured under the base and we will secure the wheel very well for shipping. Comes in original mint display box.

A good body shop guy could re-glue the wheels on making a nice display car.

For 1985, Chevrolet introduced the IROC-Z version that was named after the International Race of Champions. IROC-Z featured the 5.0-liter and the TH700-R4 transmission. Also an upgraded suspension, lowered ride height, specially valved Delco-Bilstein shocks, larger diameter sway bars, a steering/frame brace known as the "wonder bar", a special decal package, and an optional Tuned Port Injection system taken from the Corvette. It also shared the Corvette's Goodyear "Gatorback" unidirectional tires and received unique new aluminum 5-spoke 16 by 8 inch wheels.

A total of 2,497 L69 IROC-Z models were made for 1985.

The Camaro IROC-Z was on Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list for 1985.
